Hotel Description

The Kagetsu hotel is a contemporary Japanese style hotel, with a natural wooden interior. Situated in the natural surroundings of Yuzawa you can forget the troubles of the big city and relax under the evening moon. The attentive staff will greet you with "Okaerinasai" which is a greeting between family members when they return home.
In the lobby, you can enjoy the complimentary green tea “macha” and sweets which are usually found in a traditional tea ceremony. An assortment of books and a small collection of artwork in the gallery provide you with a chance to read relax and let the time pass.
The Kagetsu hotel gives you the choice between two restaurants. Both use locally produced, seasonal fresh fish, vegetables and local rice. Niigatas rice is considered the most famous and delicious in Japan.
